Historical Black College Tours

Discover firsthand what higher education has to offer with the help of William E. Edwards Academic College Tours, Inc. (WEE-ACT). We organize campus visits to introduce a range of Historical Black Colleges/Universities (HBCU) to secondary students in and around Connecticut. With our tours, students will be able to learn about the rich history of these higher education institutions and their contributions to the society.

What We Do

The William E. Edwards Academic College Tours, Inc. (WEE-ACT) sponsors yearly college tours to various Historical Black Colleges/Universities (HBCU). This educational opportunity is open to all high school students. Seventy-five percent of these students would normally not have the opportunity due to their economic status. For 29 years, contributions and support have allowed us to continue serving our community.
